The Office Systems Technology program will prepare you to work in an office among people who use the newest technologies in word processing, electronic mail, desktop publishing, graphics, databases and spreadsheets. 

What are my career choices?

Once you graduate, you may find work in a professional office, education, government, business or industry. You may work as an administrative assistant, office assistant, office manager or financial assistant. You'll help maintain the accurate flow of communication to customers on a daily basis. Additionally, you may also choose to sit for the Certified Professional Secretary Examination or Certified Administrative Professional Examination or Microsoft Office Specialists Certifications.

A core of office systems technology courses, technical electives related to office systems and general education courses will prepare you for today's workforce.

What are the admission requirements?

No there are no special admission requirements. Please consult ECTC's college admissions guidelines for information on how to enroll in the college and apply for this program.

To enter this program, you'll need basic computer and keyboarding skills.

Where do I start?

Apply for admission to ECTC to receive information from the Admissions Office about submitting your placement test scores (ACT or COMPASS exams) and to schedule a meeting with an advisor to register for your classes.
