  • Leadership Team
    • The Leadership Team is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the reaffirmation process runs smoothly with guidance and support at the highest levels of the college.

  • Steering Committee
    • The Steering Committee has primary responsibility for overseeing day-to-day reaffirmation activities including development of the college's Compliance Certification and Quality Enhancement Plan submissions.

  • Compliance Certification Workgroups
    • Eleven compliance certification workgroups are charged with conducting the internal analysis and assessment of the institution's compliance with the Core Requirements and Comprehensive Standards except for Core Requirement Twelve, the QEP. The workgroups are comprised of faculty and staff who have knowledge of the institution's history, culture, practices, policies, procedures, and data sources.

      Each of the eleven compliance certification workgroups is responsible for addressing the individual Core Requirements and Comprehensive Standards relating to the specific categories indicated below:

      • Policies - The policies workgroup focused on policies including admissions, academics, employment, and intellectual property.

      • Governance - The governance workgroup focused on the institution´s administration and governance structure.

      • CEO/Foundation - The CEO/Foundation workgroup focused on the chief executive officer and fund-raising activities.

      • Mission - The mission workgroup focused on the institution´s mission, the systematic review of the mission, and the institution´s programs that are consistent with the mission.

      • Institutional Effectiveness - The institutional effectiveness workgroup focused on the institution's planning process, review of programs, and the effectiveness of the institution and its units.

      • Admission/Transfer/Graduation Policies - The admission/transfer/graduation policies workgroup focused on coursework for degrees, admission policies, acceptance of academic credit, and academic policies.

      • Program Curriculum & Content - The program and curriculum content workgroup focused on educational programs, program length and content, consortia/contractual agreements, and curriculum and competencies.

      • Faculty - The faculty workgroup focused on issues including faculty qualifications, academic program coordination, faculty competence and development, and participation in academic matters.

      • Learning Resources & Technology - The learning resources and technology workgroup focused on learning resources and services, technology use, learning and information resources, instructional use of the library, and qualified staff.

      • Student Affairs and Services - The student affairs and services workgroup focused on issues relating directly to students including student support services, academic support services, student rights, student records, and student complaints, and qualified staff.

      • Fiscal - The fiscal workgroup focused on financial resources and stability, physical resources, external funding, and institutional environment.



  • Quality Enhancement Plan Committee
    • The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Committee is responsible for producing the QEP as described in the Handbook for Reaffirmation of Accreditation. This committee is comprised of representatives from each major division of the college: Academic Affairs, Business Affairs, and Student Affairs.
