International Students

All applicants for admission must complete the Entering Student Survey as well as the Application for admission. The completed application and any related documentation must be sent directly to either:
  • ECTC Admissions Office
    600 College Street Road
    Elizabethtown, KY 42701

  • ECTC Off-Campus Programs Office
Building 1174 Dixie Street Room 203

In addition to the general admissions requirements, every non-resident alien applicant whose native language is other than English is required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) before approval for admission. A score of 500 or higher on the TOEFL, or an average score of 81 or higher in English Language Skills on the Michigan Test, is required for admission-provided that either is attained within the 18 months previous to the first day of classes of the semester for which the applicant is applying.

The results of the American College Test (ACT) or COMPASS must also be submitted. Non-immigrant students must also show proof that they have their own health insurance that is payable in the United States.

Contact the Assessment Center for more information on GED or COMPASS Testing.
