Students may pick up a Registration Form for a Special Examination from the Assessment Center or Division Chair. You can also download and print a copy of the form by selecting the link below: Special Examination Registration Form
Students will complete the registration form and take to the appropriate Division Chair and Course Instructor for approval and signatures. A tentative test date will be determined by the Instructor to be scheduled during the Assessment Center´s Open Lab: Tuesdays 9:00am-12:00pm and Wednesdays 12:00pm-3:00pm.
Course Instructor will forward the approved exam to the Assessment Center prior to the determined test date.
Students will take the signed registration form to the Assessment Center and pay the testing fee ($20.00 for a written exam and $40.00 for a performance exam) and confirm the test date.
The Assessment Center will administer the requested exam (with the exception of special testing dates for CIS 100 and performance exams, which may be scheduled and administered by faculty).
The Assessment Center will return the completed exam and original registration form to the Course Instructor for scoring.
The Instructor will score the exam and send original registration form with test results recorded to the Records Office. Instructor will keep original exam.
Records Office will enter scores into PeopleSoft and notify the student regarding exam results. The original registration form will be kept in the student´s official file.
If ECTC is officially closed for any reason, testing will be cancelled for that day.
Requests for accommodations must be made prior to the testing date and approved by the Disability Services Coordinator. Approved requests should be forwarded to the Assessment Center Director.
