The Army 101 program is a special online course offering that may be of interest to you if you are preparing to apply for any of the U.S. Government civilian jobs at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
The course focuses on the unique terminology, culture, structure, organizational roles and systems of the U.S. Army. It will help you become familiar with the four units that will make up the Army’s new Human Resources Center of Excellence at Fort Knox.

In Army HR 102 you will gain an understanding of the life cycle of the Soldier and how the Army, and more specifically Army Human Resources Command (HRC), provides human resource management for the Army's Soldiers. This course will serve as an orientation of HRC's functional components and the technical competencies of the command's employees. Please note that while this part of the course will introduce the technical competencies, it is not intended to be a complete course of instruction on those competencies.
These one-hour college credit courses are offered online. The cost for the course is based upon the current ECTC tuition rates for one credit hour.
Classes begin monthly and you will be notified via email when your class starts, after you complete the enrollment/payment process. You will have five (5) weeks to complete either the Army 101 or the Army HR102 courses and you must achieve a minimum passing score of seventy percent (70%) for the course.
Successful completion of either Army 101 or Army HR102 courses may be considered in hiring decisions. However, it does not guarantee that you will be deemed qualified for a position, referred for consideration to a hiring manager, or chosen for a position at Fort Knox or with the U.S. Government.
