The Medical Information Technology Program prepares graduates to work in a medical setting as an administrative assistant. The skills you learn could include:
Gainful Employment Disclosure Information
You will be required to take core of medical information technology courses, technical electives related to medical information technology and general education courses. You then apply the skills you acquire in an internship usually taken in your last semester. Read the Medical Information Technology Orientation to get an overview of the MIT program.
