Campbellsville University

Campbellsville University is a private Christian institution that offers 63 programs of study at the undergraduate level, 17 masters degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. It is located about 45 miles southeast of our main campus near Green River Lake.

How will my classes transfer?

For the most part, the general education classes you take at ECTC will transfer as general education classes to Campbellsville, but Campbellsville prefers courses in history, English (101 and 102, not literature), sociology, psychology, and religion to fill those slots. The digital literacy course will also transfer to Campbellsville. One number to note is that Campbellsville will require students to take at least 11 hours of general education courses at its institution, so it’s typically not in students’ best interests to complete an associate in arts or associate in science degree before they transfer.

Are there specific transfer pathways?

Yes! Campbellsville has specific agreements in place for ECTC students who want to complete degrees they begin here.  Because of articulation agreements, Campbellsville will accept more hours from ECTC so students take fewer hours at the upper level to complete bachelor's degrees.

Degrees and Transfers.

Students who want to earn a bachelor of arts degree in Early Childhood Education or Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education can complete most of those classes right here in Hardin County.

What about scholarships?

Campbellsville offers specific transfer scholarships for ECTC students, based on their grade point averages.
