Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has access to five NewsBank databases: NewsBank NewsFile Collection, the New York Times, the New York Times Magazine, the New York Times Book Review and the Courier-Journal. The Courier-Journal is a full-text database of articles published in the Louisville Courier-Journal since 1999.
The NewsBank NewsFile Collection is a full-text news resource containing comprehensive coverage of current issues and events from over 500 U.S. and Canadian newspapers and newswires.
Instructions on searching NewsBank
Use the Quick Links on the ECTC Library home page. Click on the Off-campus Users link next to the title of the database you wish to search. Type in your KCTCS email user ID and password. You will then enter the database just as you would if you were searching from the main campus.
