APPLICATION PROCESS Apply for admission to the university. Participate in SOAR (Student Orientation and Registration). Register for classes (enroll in classes). Contact the Veterans Affairs Office. Process required paperwork for benefits. First Time Students The following are required forms provided by Veterans Affairs. Veterans Application for Educational Assistance VA Form 22-1990 ECTC Veterans Enrollment Form If the Veteran has any copy of a DD-214 Discharge Document a copy can be submitted. Members of the Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve / National Guard VA Form 22-1990 ECTC Veterans Enrollment Form Copy of your Notice of Basic Eligibility Form #2384 (This form is provided to you by your unit.) Dependents or Spouses of 100% Disabled or Deceased Veterans (Service Connected) submit: ECTC Veterans Enrollment Form VA Form 22-5490 Application for Tuition Waiver Transfer Students The appropriate forms will be provided to you by the ECTC Veterans Affairs office.
