Come to us when you need help with anything from tuition payments to vending machine malfunctions. Here are some of the things we can help you with:
Please refer to ECTC's Academic Calendar to see the current payment deadline dates.
NOTE: If your tuition is not paid in full, fully covered by financial aid, or a third party such as an employer, VOC Rehab, etc... your classes will be CANCELLED. Also, it is your responsibility to drop classes according to the deadlines posted in the college's academic calendar. You can drop classes online, at the Records Office room 102 of the RPC building, at the Fort Knox Center, or at the Springfield Center.
If you are receiving financial aid, remember, if the authorized amount does not cover the full amount of your tuition, you are responsible for the difference or your classes will be CANCELLED. Check your Student Self-Service under anticipated aid. Keep in mind that anticipated aid assumes you are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. If you are enrolled in less than 12 hours, anticipated aid will be less than shown.
ECTC encourages our students to take an active role in learning about budgeting, saving, identity theft, credit scores, and how to manage your debt. Find out more, visit our Money Managment page.
Upon enrollment, students in 3 credit hours or more, will be mailed a "KCTCS Debit Card". All tuition/Financial Aid refunds are processed through this card. Please login to KCTCSDebitCard.com for more information.
ECTC has numerous scholarship opportunities to help students offset the costs of attending college. Our scholarships are supported annually through donations by local corporations, businesses, civic clubs and North Central Education Foundation (NCEF).
ECTC publishes scholarship information describing the criteria for applying for scholarships. Students interested in applying for a scholarship should fill out an application and submit it to the Admissions Office.
If you are receiving scholarships from other organizations, you must submit your scholarship notification letters and your scholarship check(s) to the Business Affairs Office in Room 107 in the Occupational Technical Building (OTB). Once your scholarship is submitted, your award will be applied to your account.
Students who lose money in the vending machines on the ECTC campus may request a refund from the Business Affairs Office. Please indicate the building, machine and snack product when reporting lost money. Also, we would greatly appreciate it if you would report any machine malfunctions.
